Although the final boss is a little tricky, you will probably have 50 lives banked up (plus continues) making the entire process more than doable. It is very easy to earn lives in this game and the games saves your progress. Sonic 3 and Knuckles for the Mega Drive is probably the easiest Sonic game in the franchise.Super Mario Land 1 for the Gameboy is game that is fairly easy to beat once realise that all you need to do to beat the final boss is hide in the bottom left portion of the screen.The game can easily be beaten in single player mode and you don’t have to have the game on the highest difficulty to get the true ending (cough Streets of Rage 3 cough). Streets of Rage 2 for the Mega Drive is another beat ‘em up game with an easy mode that’s actually easy.They are essentially JRPGS without the bone chilling difficulty that 80s/90s era JRPGS usually have. Ěny of the Pokemon games for the Gameboy are always a good choice.
It is a 2 player beat ‘em up with great music and gameplay.

Power Rangers The Movie for the Mega Drive is another Power Rangers style game with an easy mode that’s actually easy.Each level has a boss fight where you have to use a Mega Zord (where the game becomes more like a 1 on 1 fighter). You get to choose which order you do the levels like a Mega Man game. It’s an action platformer Power Rangers style game.
